2. Education
Reality Check and our partners propose an integrated approach for fighting multigenerational poverty. Starting from the belief that only education can offer children a chance for a better life and based on a 15-year hands-on grassroots project experience, we have the following interventions: social services, educational programs, health education, community development and advocacy.
More than just a list of interventions, our “Together for better future in Coroieni” project comes with a specific type of doing things: all the local authorities are working as a team, using the same integrated work-tools, and are constantly communicating with the community.
We organise formal education activities (remedial education: fast forward literacy and after school programs), as well as informal education activities (sport activities, teambuilding, action groups for youngsters with potential for leadership) for children at risk.
All participants get a snack or a warm meal.
