Success starts in childhood, through inclusion and education
On Saturday, October 2nd, 350 children from Coroieni, took part in the Relay for Education: a running competition that aims to bring together all the children from the comuna. They all share the same dream of a carefree childhood and a better life than their parents.
The participants, aged between 6 and 18, gathered at the sports field in Coroieni and started the race according to their age group. All children pushed their own limits and learned that teamwork and perseverance bring success and happiness. At the same time, the kindergarten children participated in movement and play activities in the schoolyards of Coroieni and Ponorâta, together with specialists from Fundația Noi Orizonturi and volunteer teachers. All children received sports equipment, fruit, sweets and water, as well as a medal for their participation. As the children ran and played, parents and relatives cheered them on in unison. Winners in each category received prizes and medals.
